Main Event List
Free Stage
We build our home stage each year at the foot of Hakodate Mountain, between the night-time landmark Old Public Hall and the lights of the bay. This port site anchors us in the "Long Now" history of our town as well as representing our "Big Here" ambition to to be a conduit for global connections.
The World Food Court we debuted in 2010 has grown into the "Mogu Mogu Festival" this year,
so please come and experience a new WMDF atmosphere.

Gala
Each year, we program one event at an indoor stage. This is your
chance to see our artists from the comfort of a concert hall seat.
Many of our audience (and performers) report that this is one of their
favourite artistic experiences at WMDF. In each WMDF to date, the
weather has produced prolific rain on every day we have scheduled this
indoor event, so cancel those camping plans on Aug 8, and come join
us to explore other worlds in music.
Date: 8/8(Mon)
Time: 18:00 - 21:00 (Doors Open 17:30)
Charge: 2,000 yen (elementary school students and above). Free to Sponsor Pass holders.
